Henley Fours & Eights Head 2023
Henley Fours & Eights is scheduled to take place on
Saturday 11th February 2023.
NOTICE: The organising committee are sad to report a serious incident at Henley Fours & Eights Head on Saturday 11th February 2023.
One of our competitors, having completed the race, sadly collapsed in his boat and subsequently died. Our thoughts are with, and condolences go to his family and we ask that they be given privacy.
This has been reported to British Rowing and is being investigated by them, Any approaches should be made via British Rowing..

Boating times, please keep raft area clear! - adhere to these times and it will help your day to run smoothly :).

We will publish "live times" via the website during the day (so do bring your smart phone...). I would stress that these are PROVISIONAL and subject to correction and handicapping may not yet have been done.
Final results will, as ever, be posted following the conclusion of racing.
Parking:
We strongly encourage competitors and spectators to Car Share to minimise vehicles on site -.
There will be a £10/charge for parking (Towing vehicles, Coaches/Minibuses exempted). (There will be an entrance and separate exit to facilitate drop offs, please follow the normal circulation entering through the gate behind Leander Club.)
Trailers:
Please be aware that we only have access to regatta land on the day of our event. Gates open at 7:30 am. Please do NOT arrive before this.
This also applies to Leander's Car park which is the property of HRR.
We are grateful for the support of the Stewards of Henley Royal Regatta and ask for your cooperation to help us maintain this.
Gazebos:
Please also note that visitors to/competitors at our event are not permitted to erect any gazebos or little tents on HRR land. Neither should any private BBQs be lit on site. (We do have a refreshment tent.)
Bicycles:
Coaches and cyclists please be considerate of all other towpath users. No cycling in the enclosures and be aware that much of our towpath is fenced and narrow.
Photographs:
Please would photographers register their attendance with us. Let us know in advance and we can share a link on our website. We are pleased to see you and hope competitors will enjoy having your pictures available.
